About the Role

As a member of the care compliance team, the RCM role is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality and compliance across all aspects of the business. To do so, the role must keep up to date with industry trends regarding best practice, compliance, and quality matters. 

Through exceptional leadership this role is accountable for managing the Care Managers and their teams to achieve business key performance indicators.    

The role relies on exceptional customer experience skills to effectively engage with all clients, employees, and stakeholders, and demonstrate a commitment to continuously improve the delivery of care and services and to ensure Seasons has a sustainable business.  

In this role, you must have excellent analytical, written and communication skills to identify and analyse data, indicators, gaps and trends, review processes and documentation, manage and conduct the audit schedule, identify and implement staff education, feedback and performance management, along with quality improvement initiatives. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Compliance: Ensure care frameworks are implemented to ensure compliance and implement corrective actions to address non-compliance and continuous improvement.   
  • Policy: Enforce company policies, procedures in line with best practice and legislation.  
  • Clinical Governance: Adherence to Care Operations Manual to support a consistent approach to care within the communities.   
  • Record Keeping: Ensure care business systems and IT platforms are used correctly.         
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct audit findings and compliance requirements. 
  • Corrective Action: Proactively promote, develop, and implement, while encouraging others to support quality improvement.  
  • Benchmarking: Working with Executive Manager Care (EMC) report and interpret data outlining areas of risk and improvements. 
  • Feedback: Support care teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement by conducting surveys, forums, etc., to identify trends and gaps to support a high level of stakeholder satisfaction. 
  • Customer: Support EMC to create a customer driven approach to quality and compliance by supporting and educating the care team in each community.  
  • Quality Scorecards: Review quarterly employee reports on feedback and complaints, incidents, and document control to provided ongoing education and promote a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Leadership: Lead the Care Managers to mentor and support the care workforce. 
  • Culture: Foster a collaborative multi-disciplinary culture to support deliverables.  
  • Recruitment: Working with the Care Managers ensure adherence to correct hiring and onboarding processes.    
  • Performance Management: Support Care Managers to manage and address care employee performance issues or customer complaints when critical situations arise
  • Profit & Loss: Ensure strong financial performance of each community, working with Finance and the EMC to budget, forecast, manage expenses, conduct competitor reviews, and find efficiencies.  
  • Procurement: Support the EMC with companywide procurement of PPE and relevant care business supplies to ensure efficient savings and correct use of products.     
  • Growth: Support Care Managers to promote and drive care business growth. 
  • Performance: Working with EMC produce financial and non-financial reports on each community as requested.

Requirements 

  • Due to the 24/7 nature of the business, it is reasonable to expect that Seasons employees may be requested to work on a public holiday. Where an employee has been allocated a public holiday to work, this is a request, not a requirement.  
  • Tertiary qualification in aged care, health, nursing, community services and/or equivalent relevant experience in a role.  
  • 5yrs+ leadership experience managing teams and budgets.   
  • Excellent computer and IT skills, including Office, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams.   
  • Understanding of applicable care legislation and reforms. 
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights. 
  • Current national criminal check.
