Regional General Manager, Sales - Fast Hire

Reporting to the Sales Director, within this rapidly growing brand, the role of Regional General Manager, Sales (Queensland) is now available.  This positionis perfect for someone who has significant experience and knowledge across automotive dealership operations, are looking to challenge the status quo, however is ever evolving their sales learnings as the technology shifts to a new gear!

Based in the regional office in Browns Plains, the primary responsibility of this key position is to manage the sales and network relations across the Northern Region dealer network, with the purpose to deliver on retail and fleet sales volume, aftersales performance, and customer expectations.

Leading a team of approximately 6 team members and as one of the key interfaces between the OEM and the Dealers you will be someone who:

• Has the ability and experience to negotiate major deals and identify opportunities in the market, across both fleet and retail
• Possess strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Embraces new technology
• Has the ability to cultivate and strengthen key stakeholder relationships between dealers and corporate office
• Contributes to the setting of the local area business objectives, whilst aligning with the broader business plan
• Will have a significant impact in shaping the future of automotive here in Australia
• Has the ability to influence and cultivate change
• Enjoys working in a corporate office environment

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience and knowledge across whole of dealership operations
• Strong understanding of the sales process across both retail and fleet 
• Ability to collect, track, manage and report on competitor information
• Experience in the Automotive industry is absolutely essential
• OEM experience is highly regarded
• Understanding and experience with finance and commercials within dealerships and corporate office
• Engaging and continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to travel to various sites, both locally (interstate as required)
• Current Drivers' license essential (for your company vehicle)
