Regional Manager - Construction - Continuous Learning Opportunities

The Company:

Our client is a leading electrical and construction contractor, making big change across a high demand industry.  Working locally to Wollongong and surrounding regions, we are searching for thier newest Regional Manager, to take full ownership of the opportunties and delivery within the region.   Specialising primarily in Industrial Electrical works, project delivery is their specialty - thinking out of the box, and delivering solutions where they matter most. 

The Role:

This role is autonomous, and holds accountability for the following areas:

• Health, Safety and Environment
• Business Development and Business Continuity
• Contract and Project Management
• Human Resource Management
• Quality and Compliance
• Financial and Reporting

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining oversight of all projects delivered within the region
• Provision of inspiring and effective leadership to delivery teams in fostering company values
• Building of strong relationships to produce commerical beneficial outcomes
• Proactive maangement of commercial and contractual obligations
• Developing and managing accurate cost forecasts, cashflows, and delivery budgets

Supported by an experience Shared Services team based out of Head Office,and a developing local team, this role will be the first point of contact for all on ground enquiries, while maintaining adherence to company policies, procedures and values.

The Person:

Our client's ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years high-performing experience in a similar role, or outstanding exposure to a similar skill set.  
• Exceptional interpersonal skills at all levels of engagement
• Flexibility to respond to client and employee needs at all times (please note this may require some out of normal business hours contact in line with operations demands).
• Strong commercial acumen with focus on contractual management
• Stong working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and application
• The ability to lead and motivate for best results
• A history of successful project delivery and generation of repeat business.
