About The Role

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of our vision and strategy in all marketing plans and activities for Australia and New Zealand.

As a key member of the ANZ Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the Business Director, the Regional Marketing Manager has 5 direct reports including Brand Managers and Channel Activation Managers.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, manage and implement marketing plans and activities for assigned portfolio/ channel in line with global and business unit guidelines
  • Drive regionalization of strategic assortment and secure feedback to regional needs and for coordinating local input to global innovation process
  • Coach and develop marketing team to foster staff development in creating a high performance culture
  • Actively recommend growth solutions and take holistic approach to new product launches/ relaunches and proactively drive synergies across sales and marketing teams
  • Deliver sales and profitability targets for portfolio responsibilities within assigned A&P budget and performance measures
  • Adapt brand, channel and/or product marketing communication material across channels and products to local requirements to secure efficient and effective communication for each market activity
  • Contribute to the global development work related to assigned brands, product category or channel, including involvement in global projects
  • Ensure accurate logistic forecast on country, channel and product level for product launches
  • Develop and/ or implement promotions and corresponding support materials in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Ensure collection of both clinical and commercial market related insights and share them with relevant parties, whether locally, globally or within BU, including delivery of training
  • Manage key external stakeholders such as KOLs, industry associations and 3rd party vendors
  • Work alongside Sales Leaders and their respective teams to improve sales performance and provide strategic and analytical support to optimise business opportunities
  • Act as a top management representative for the ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS) and where required, make business decisions relating to our QMS
  • Role model Essity’s Global Beliefs and Behaviours of care, courage, collaboration and commitment.

About You

The ideal candidate will deliver impactful leadership of culture, strategy and performance leveraging their extensive experience in leading effective teams to grow our market presence in the region.

Representing our global business values of collaboration, care, courage and commitment, you will work effectively with the local organization and global marketing teams to enhance our portfolio offerings to elevate Essity’s growth and market presence across Australia and New Zealand.

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

  • Experience in leading and inspiring organisations to grow, preferably in the health and medical sector
  • Working at the senior leadership level to drive cultural change, coaching and engagement
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce and/ or a related discipline
  • Relevant post graduate degree in Commerce or business-related discipline (desired but not essential)
  • Strong, proven influencing and stakeholder management skills and capability
  • Commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset
  • Strategic and critical thinking ability
