This is an opportunity to join a diverse project management team and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. We are looking for a Regional Procurement and Contracts Officer with skills in the provision of advice relating to procurement and contract management, including auditing, project management, reporting and data management.
This role will be working with the Regional Procurement Officer to ensure that robust and compliant contract management and procurement processes are in place for across a range of land management programs and to assist DEECA staff across Gippsland.
The successful applicant will be self-driven and a problem solver. They will have demonstrated experience in project management processes, procurement and contract management. This is primarily an office-based role, but having a background in land management and project management would be an advantage. DEECA has emergency management responsibilities, especially relating to bushfire and this role will contribute to DEECA's responsibilities wherever possible.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Gippsland with hybrid work arrangements available.
