CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to complement our existing and highly successful sales team in Queensland. You will be based at our Brisbane State Office, but spend most of your days supporting our loyal customers across the beautiful Gold Coast down to Northern NSW. 

This role reports directly to the State Sales Manager, whom you will work closely with, developing your sales strategies and achieving your KPI targets. You will gain ongoing Volvo product knowledge from the experienced sales team and Volvo training from the best. With customer satisfaction at the forefront and a passion for construction equipment, along with your drive to open / close deals successfully, you'll be reaping the rewards quickly. 

A day on the job will see you:

  • Developing your sales and territory plan, to maximize face-to-face time with customers and future customers
  • Focused on achieving sales targets, reviewing market conditions and market shares, and forecasting
  • Building positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and industry representatives
  • Delivering new construction equipment to our customers, ensuring effective delivery, familiarization and handover of equipment is carried out smoothly
  • Coaching/mentoring our Sales Cadets and team members to understand and promote products.

Your application will go to the top of our shortlist if you have:

  • Experience in B2B selling and practical working knowledge of construction equipment. (Volvo CE highly regarded)
  • Understand your market, specifically Gold Coast to Northern NSW, and have the ability to adapt as it grows. 
  • Positive drive, energy, and autonomy, with a ‘can-do’ attitude to make it all come together
  • You're willing to go the distance to deliver excellence to customers.
  • You know how to strike a good deal for the customers while achieving a win-win for the business. 
  • You're a People Person, who enjoys building trusted relationships with our valued customers and introducing new customers to the business
  • A current driver’s licence (MC or HR or willing to obtain one) and the flexibility to travel to visit customers (as planned).
