Job Description - Regional Sales - Mining and Industrial

The Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) group is part of the wider Eaton Electrical Group and contains the Crouse Hinds division which manufactures high grade electrical products for hazardous, industrial, and commercial applications world-wide. We are looking for a Regional Sales Representative to drive and maintain new business opportunities for our full range of Crouse Hinds products across our mining and industrial customer base in metro Perth and regional Western Australia.  

Key Duties:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within the Mining, Industrial, and Hazardous Area Equipment (HAE) arena.
  • Actively drive and seek out new sales opportunities across the full Crouse Hinds product bandwidth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers, electrical contractors, and end users.
  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to Crouse Hinds.
  • Selling and on-site demonstrations with solution-based problem solving.
  • Personal involvement with the full sales lifecycle and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales environment selling electrical equipment. Experience in Hazardous Area Equipment and/or industrial Lighting a bonus
  • Superb communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Industrial Electrical Applications and Hazardous experience preferred.
