Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence: Evaluate residents' clinical needs, manage medications safely, and oversee complex wound and chronic disease management, including diabetes and palliative care.
Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and guide the Care Team to ensure systematic execution of daily activities and clinical tasks.
Resident Advocacy: Collaborate with allied health services and communicate with families to achieve optimal outcomes for residents.
Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical data, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and SummitCare policies.
Quality & Safety: Engage in continuous improvement, audits, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and homelike environment.
Requirements
Requirements:
Current Registration: Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Experience: Previous experience in health or aged care, with knowledge of AN -ACC and Aged Care Quality Standards.
Clinical Competence: Skilled in a variety of clinical practices and committed to evidence -based care.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in computer systems and documentation tools.
Empathy & Values: Demonstrates a caring and empathic approach to older people, aligned with the Code of Ethics for Nurses in Australia.
Leadership Ability: Proven experience in autonomously managing and supervising a diverse team.

salary & Financial Benefits
Competitive Pay: Salary is paid in accordance with the Nurses Award standard rates (AUD 80,000 - 120,000)
Shift Rewards: Additional higher pay rates for afternoon, night, and weekend shifts.
