Registered Nurse for a 3 month, fixed-term contract

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to become part of a dedicated team within a well-established and welcoming residential aged care facility in Wodonga for a 3 month, fixed-term contract. As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering the best of care to residents and their families. Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, you'll have the opportunity to create and implement personalised care plans, ensuring residents receive exceptional support throughout their ageing journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records.
• Develop and implement individual care plans for residents.
• Monitor and assess the health status of residents, responding to changes promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other aged care professionals.
• Assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with all aged care regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements:

• ASAP start preferred but not essential.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience.
• AHPRA registration as a Div 1 Registered Nurse.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
