Located in a beautiful rural area of Doomadgee in north Queensland, we require multiple qualified registered nurses who are happy to work in a rural setting. Come and enjoy the beautiful weather Queensland has to offer through the Australian winter. Travel, Accommodation, and great hourly pay + Penalties included. 5 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Start Date; 26th June – End Date; 27th August 2023
Duties

Provide patient care by administering medications, providing treatments, and performing medical procedures.

Maintain accurate patient records.

Educate patients and families about medical conditions, therapies, and expectations for recovery.

Manage a variety of patient conditions, medical emergencies, and other health issues.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop patient care plans.

Ensure quality care and patient safety in accordance with hospital protocols.

Follow infection control policies and provide patient education on prevention of infection and transmission of disease.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

ALS, Resus and Triage certificates

BLS competency

Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)

Manual and patient handling

Infection control

Aggressive behaviour management

Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect

Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
