About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dynamic surgical nursing team. Working within a fast-paced acute surgical environment, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, from admission through to discharge.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centred care while supporting efficient patient flow and positive clinical outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to develop and strengthen your surgical nursing skills across a diverse patient cohort, while working collaboratively with medical, allied health, and nursing colleagues to ensure the best possible experience for our patients. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients pre- and post-operatively


• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, vital signs, and wound healing


• Administer medications and manage pain control effectively


• Educate patients and families regarding post-surgical care and discharge plans


• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with hospital policy


• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are upheld

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA registration


• Previous experience in a surgical or acute care ward


• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities


• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights


• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care
