About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in medical and surgical nursing to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients across a variety of conditions, including pre-operative and post-operative care. You will play a critical role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nursing care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IVs per facility protocols and policies.
• Monitor and document patient vitals, progress, and treatment responses.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, post-surgical care, and recovery plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations using advanced clinical skills.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and workplace safety standards.

Essential Criteria

• Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, triage, and care planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
