Registered Nurse (Part Time), Westmead

What we need

:

A pro-choice advocate

Bachelor of Nursing degree 

Current AHPRA registration

Previous day surgery and recovery experience 

Willingness to learn all aspects of the client's journey across admissions, surgery and recovery

Previous experience in sexual & reproductive health 

Minimum 1 years post-graduation experience in Nursing

Knowledge of National Accreditation Standards and ACORN standards 

Understand the importance of quality processes

Willingness to learn with a non-judgmental attitude

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to actively encourage a positive team culture including provision of excellent customer service

Experience of achieving high standards with a focus on continuous improvement

Strong initiative and problem-solving skills

What we'd like to see (but aren't essential):   

Ultrasound scanning skills

Phlebotomy competency

CSSD Certificate

Family Planning Certificate or Midwifery qualification
