Registered Nurse Scrub Scout (Cardio Thoracic/Neurosurgery)

New opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to join the Scrub Scout team at a private hospital in Perth. ABOUT THE POSITION As a Registered Nurse, your key functions include:

Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures;

Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care;

Providing supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates and students and AINs/PSAs;

Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, managing own work time and personal well-being;

Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;

Being Involved in clinical and compliance auditing.

REQUIREMENTS  

Current Registration with AHPRA;

You will hold a minimum of 3 years of full-time scrub scout experience in cardiothoracic and neurosurgery;

Previous experience with Cardio-Thoracic/ Neurosurgery;

Have relevant post-graduate qualifications (desirable);

Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the perioperative complex;

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team;

Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.
