Registered Nurses Rehabilitation

New opportunities have become available for a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join the professional team at a private rehabilitation centre in Melbourne. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available. POSITION OVERVIEW As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering evidence-based nursing care;

Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;

Ensuring patient and staff safety;

Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;

Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA;

Working with Children check;

Police check dated in the last 12 months;

Serology testing dated in the last 12 months;

Specialty nursing experience (desired);

Commitment to Quality Patient Care;

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;

Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;

Excellent communication and customer service skills;

Ability to work well independently and within a team;

Basic computer skills.

ABOUT THE FACILITY The Rehabilitation Centre, located in East South Melbourne, is a large rehabilitation facility comprising 93 beds across three wards. The facility offers an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. The specialties include orthopaedics, stroke, cardiac, restorative, respiratory, and pain management.
