Registered Psychologist - Critical Incident Responder

We are growing our rapid response and organisational wellbeing services and are seeking a fulltime Registered Psychologist to join our Subiaco team as a Critical Incident Responder. 

Your new role 

As a Psychologist specialising in Critical Incident Response, you will provide immediate support to workplaces experiencing traumatic or challenging events. You will: 

• Deliver onsite and remote psychological first aid after critical incidents 

• Provide individual and group support, stabilisation and psychoeducation 

• Support managers and leaders in responding to workplace incidents 

• Participate in the afterhours mobilisation roster (two out of every three weeks) 

• Attend client sites across Perth and regional WA, sometimes at short notice 

• Build strong relationships with client organisations and communicate clearly during highpressure events 

• Complete timely, accurate documentation and followup support 

• Provide EAP counselling, wellbeing services and assessments when working from the office (secondary to CIR duties) 

About you 

• Registered Psychologist with full AHPRA registration 

• Confident supporting clients experiencing trauma, distress or acute stress 

• Comfortable with regular travel and attending workplaces onsite and responding at short notice 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Full Australian working rights 

• Ability to obtain a National Police Check 

• Current driver’s licence
