Job Description - Regular Giving Associate

Role type: Full Time; Fixed Term for 12 months
Department: Advancement, Communications & Marketing
Salary: UOM 6 - $100,847 - $109,163 p.a. plus 17% super

Your next career opportunity 
As the Regular Giving Associate, you'll play a vital role in expanding philanthropic support for the University of Melbourne. You'll assist in delivering University-wide Regular Giving programmes, focusing on two annual appeals and other various initiatives. Working within the Leadership Giving team, you'll engage with diverse donor communities and contribute directly to student success through innovative fundraising strategies.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Deliver Regular Giving Programmes: Assist in implementing University-wide Regular Giving initiatives, including two annual appeals and targeted campaigns.
  • Support Donor Engagement: Help cultivate relationships with individual donors, alumni, staff, and the wider University community.
  • Collaborate Across Advancement: Work closely with Engagement and Development colleagues to ensure cohesive fundraising efforts.
  • Contribute to Strategic Initiatives: Support the Regular Giving Manager in developing and executing Leadership Giving/Regular Giving programmes.

You are a proactive and collaborative professional with excellent communication skills, a passion for philanthropy, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in support of educational initiatives.

You may also: 

  • Have experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field in the non-profit or education sector.
  • Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Have a keen interest in higher education and student success initiatives.
  • Be adaptable and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
