About us
At the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), we are dedicated to carrying out meaningful work that drives improvements and elevates student achievement across NSW, now and into the future.
We accomplish this by supporting all school sectors with high-quality syllabuses, assessment (including managing the HSC and NAPLAN), teaching standards (e.g., accrediting teachers) and school environments (including setting and monitoring school standards).

About the role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Regulatory Communications and Engagement Officer to support communication, education and stakeholder engagement activities that promote awareness and compliance with the not-for-profit requirements of the Education Act 1990 (NSW) for non-government schools.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of regulation, education and communications, developing subject matter expertise in a complex regulatory environment and translating legislative requirements into practical guidance for schools and stakeholders.
You will contribute to meaningful work that supports transparency, compliance and informed decision-making across the non-government school sector while working closely with subject matter experts, senior stakeholders and representative bodies.
