Job Description - Rehabilitation Counsellor

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Recovre team at Marsh. This role will be based in Brisbane, Cairns or Rockhampton. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Recovre’s Rehabilitation Counsellors build trust with clients and collaborate with all stakeholders to support safe and sustainable recovery and return to work. They work within a multi-disciplinary team sharing their expertise to achieve exceptional health outcomes.

We will count on you to:

  • Build trust with your client and a collaborative partnership with all stakeholders
  • Identify hurdles to return to work following illness or injury and collaborate to problem solve, plan and achieve safe and sustainable recovery and return to work and independence
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team and share your expertise with others
  • Conduct thorough assessments including Vocational, Pre-Employment, Activities of Daily Living, Workplace and Ergonomic assessments
  • Manage case management and reporting
  • Travel to clients with flexible work-from-home and office base arrangements

What you need to have:

  • Full ASORC membership or AHPRA registration
  • Preference for Rehabilitation Counselling experience
