The Team

Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 33 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. 

The Role

Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate level lawyer to join our tight-knit financial lines team in Melbourne.  The successful candidate will work in a truly collegiate team, headed by two leading and respected financial lines Principals.

The role will involve defending a variety of claims brought against directors, officers and companies, and professionals across the legal, financial services, construction and property industries.

The Successful Candidate

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes:

4+ years defendant insurance experience (preferably professional indemnity);

strong file management ability;

ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;

effective communication skills;

ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners; and

collaborative and pragmatic approach.
