With a strong international presence and growing investment in Australia, the organisation is expanding its regional team to support continued growth across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
Our Client is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead membership and training growth across Australia and New Zealand.
You will take ownership of new business development across the region, building relationships with organisations in technical and safety-focused industries and driving long-term partnerships through a consultative sales approach.
This is a fully remote role based in Australia, reporting to the Head of Business Development in the UK. You will work closely with global teams and an existing Australia-based colleague who focuses on account management and existing member relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business growth across Australia and New Zealand through proactive outreach and relationship building
Identify and convert organisations into long-term members
Promote training and professional development programs to new and existing clients
Build and manage a strong pipeline using CRM tools and structured sales activity
Conduct discovery-led conversations with senior stakeholders to understand operational and compliance needs
Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
Travel across Australia and New Zealand to meet clients and attend key industry events
Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure strong client experience
Achieve regional growth targets for membership and training engagement

About You:
5+ years B2B business development or consultative sales experience
Experience selling services, solutions, training or memberships
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
Willingness to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand
Nice to have:
Exposure to construction, engineering, mining, logistics or industrial sectors
Existing network within Australian industry
