What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team to provide superior development services and support to our customers, and helping them to save time by optimising their online stores using our Power Tools App. This includes providing custom solutions to their online store, solving issues with their app integrations, prompt response to queries, and ensuring we obtain good ratings / feedback.

What is Power Tools?

The Power Tool is an e-commerce SaaS app launched in 2013. It is a 10 app bundle, available for e-commerce merchants on the Shopify platform, with an overall rating of five stars.

For the business owner, marketer, or store builder this tool overcomes a specific limitation and allows customers to improve their store’s performance with powerful features such as the Collection Filters, Smarter Collections, Auto Collections and more. It comes with 1-Click 'Developer-Free' installation, responsive customer support.



What does the role involve?

Customising our customers online store and integrating the app into their theme

Providing customisation services to their web frontend

Serving as the primary contact for customers using the Power Tool app during the day

Responding to queries on Intercom on a prioritisation basis within a reasonable timeframe

Understanding customer needs and providing empathetic, positive response/s

Provision of batches and advice in a straight-forward way that enables the customer/s to quickly resolve their issue/s

Consultation, agreement of pricing and coding for customised web development for selected Power Tool customers

Escalating unresolved issues to CEO and liaising with the customer /s with resulting recommendations / actions

Maintenance / Improvement of customer ratings and customer comments on the App Store

Representing the voice of the customer to provide input into Power Tools in terms of recommendations of improvements to the CEO / Product Owner

Identify opportunities with Power Tools partners

What are we looking for? 

Someone who has had in-depth web development training through Tafe / Uni / reputable online web development course who has an all-round great attitude and some concrete, commercial experience with web development. Also, an interest in apps and e-commerce stores!

Australian citizen or permanent resident only please (as we are unable to sponsor at this stage). Perth based - WFH with occasional team catchups. Work hours are predominantly daytime in the week with a Saturday morning check in and resolution of any critical support.
