Job Description - Customer Onboarding Coordinator

Our story


There are some big, juicy problems in property management that need to be solved. In the time it takes you to read this job ad, 21 tenants will be approved for a rental property, giving property owners, new tenants, and property managers new relationships to manage. With more than 15 years of adventures in prop-tech, Kolmeo gives real estate agencies around Australia the right tools and technology to perfectly balance the tenant, owner, and property manager relationship. In fact, we used to be the customer - a prop-tech company born out of property management - so we intimately understand their joys and sorrows (and our customers are at the heart of everything we do).



So what’s the gig?


Kolmeo is on the hunt for a Customer Onboarding Coordinator to play a key support role in ensuring our new customers have a smooth and successful start with our software. You’ll be part of the onboarding team, working alongside the Customer Onboarding Manager and the wider CX team. Day to day you’ll coordinate tasks, keep things moving, and support our customers every step of the way.
Our Customer Onboarding Coordinator helps build customer confidence and plays an important role in making sure each onboarding project runs smoothly and on time. This is a great fit for someone with a keen interest in technology, who enjoys variety and making a difference in customers lives.



A day in the life of a Customer Onboarding Coordinator:



  • Help support the onboarding and implementation process for new customers

  • Assist in keeping projects on track by capturing meeting notes, sending updates, and following up on next steps/action items

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely onboarding steps are completed and everyone is kept updated throughout

  • Assist in setting up customer accounts, software environments, templates, and configurations to meet each specific customers needs

  • Keep detailed onboarding records and documentation, and track progress throughout onboarding

  • Prepare and keep easy-to-digest training materials and assist the delivery of customer training sessions

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and Knowledge Base documentation.



To hit this job out of the park, you must have:



  • Previous experience in property management is essential (residential rentals)

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-aware and adaptable – comfortable working with a variety of personality types

  • Eager to learn, grow, and take initiative

  • Comfortable using and learning new software tools

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • A team player approach with a customer-first mindset.

  • Experience in onboarding, training, or customer success roles

  • Familiarity with property management software or SaaS platforms

  • Knowledge of project management principles.
