Responsibilities:
- Performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain system performance and optimizing system parameters.
- Liaison with technical team on the maintenance and enhancement of trading and monitoring systems.
- Following the company’s operational procedures and internal controls in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and analyzing client’s trading activities and exposures.
- Monitoring group exposures (market risk).
- Provide operational support including processing of corporate actions.
- Providing internal support to the client facing team on trading related inquiries.
- Communication with counterparties.
- Keeping up to date with financial markets information and conducting market research.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets.
- University/College degree in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science/Engineering or other STEM field.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience of using Python for analytics.
- Self-starter, proactive and move fast.
- Open-minded and cooperative.
- Team orientated and looking to joining a tight-knit team.
- Adaptable problem solver, looking for alternative solutions.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
