Manager - Leading Boutique Firm in Parramatta - Hybrid WFH Policy

• $120k - $150k Package + Quarterly Bonus

My client is a growing mid-sized firm, based in the heart of Parramatta. Their offices overlook the Parramatta river, and have recently been renovated. The team are looking to bring on board an experienced supervisor or manager to join their growing team and manage 4 junior staff members. This is a client facing role where you will be advising clients directly, and supporting the Partners in managing relationships within the portfolio. 

The firm offers services in tax compliance, advisory, SMSFs and VCFO/outsourced finance to a diverse range of Australian businesses and private clients. Key industries include medical practitioners, professional services, construction and HNW individuals & family groups. In the role you will gain exposure to complex advisory work, not just standard taxation compliance. 

They offer quarterly bonus incentives, and review salaries based on performance rather than annual review. As a result, there is excellent earning potential as you develop in your role. Growth is not limited – if you perform beyond expectations, progression into leadership is available (one of the managers was recently promoted into a partnership role). 

They understand that work/life balance is essential and given this, they offer 1 day per week WFH. 

You will have key responsibilities, including:

• Lead and provide mentoring to a team of up to 4
• Provide comprehensive tax consulting and business advisory to clients across various entities including companies, family groups and high net-wealth individuals
• Develop an established client base
• Manage internal and external client communication
• Prepare, file and review of individual, partnership, company, trust, estate and SMSF income tax returns, BAS, IAS and FBT
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for all entity types

The ideal candidate:  

• CA/CPA qualified.
• 5 + years experience in public practice accounting, specifically in business services/taxation
• Experience reviewing, mentoring and training junior colleagues
• High-level communication and interpersonal abilities
• A genuine interest in progressing your career, and providing the highest level of service to the firms clientele
• Possess the ability to use initiative and think outside of the box
