The Role 

National Skin Cancer Centres are seeking a friendly Patient Engagement Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis, working from home as part of our Appointment Centre.

Shifts for this role include Monday, Tuesday and Friday, the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm, with availability to cover sick and annual leave or additional shifts during busy periods.

This role would be ideal for someone with a medical reception background who is looking for more flexibility in a remote role.

Key responsibilities for this role include: 

• Follow up and engage with past patients with a view to booking them into one of our centres
  


• Respond to and convert online enquires to bookings within the required timeframe


• Manage live chat enquires


• Assist our centres with managing changes to their appointment books
  


• Be able to call a high number of patients in a day


• Report on the success of your calls

You are:

• Friendly with professional telephone manner (essential)


• Experience within either the medical industry or a call centre would be highly regarded


• Ability to deliver information effectively to a diverse range of customers


• Flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment


• Self-managed and able to work with minimal supervision 


• Excellent communication skills
  


• Experienced with Best Practice (not essential, but highly regarded)


• Authorised to work in Australia
