Job Description - Programme Manager

The Programme Manager leads end-to-end project and programme management and the implementation of robust processes to deliver requirements while ensuring value for money.The role contributes to the long-term financial performance of the ETF’s projects and programmes through effective operational and financial performance management.
 
Programme Managers work closely with teams across the ETF to lead efficient delivery of projects and programmes, and achievement of service standards and key performance indicators, reporting performance to senior ETF colleagues, external stakeholders and funders. 
  • Excellent organisational planning and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and projects, with high quality delivery, on time and on budget,
  • A self-motivated and pro-active approach. 
  • Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent financial literacy – budget development and management, advanced excel skills, monitoring and forecasting budgets, familiarity with financial processes (POs, invoicing, sales)
  • Data literacy – excel, data manipulation, analysis and interpretation of data, principles of good data management/cleaning, experienced in reaching decisions and judgements based on sound evidence base.
  • Strong communication skills – working with wide range of internal and external stakeholders, building and maintain networks and excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

  • Starting Salary: £50,500 per annum pro rata to start, with service and performance related progression
  • Contract type: Full-time and Fixed term until 31 August 2026
  • Location: London Victoria / Hybrid
