Territory: The Regional VP of Sales APAC will cover the APAC region (including Australia and India)
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, the Regional VP of Sales APAC Sales will be a key element in the development and execution of the Asia Pacific commercial strategy. The business, market and partner development. The VP Sa position encompasses important areas of responsibility including profitable sales growth, APAC will establish the company as the true leader in physical security by fostering strong loyalty with existing customers and partners, developing new markets, lasting business partnerships while strengthening Genetec's presence in APAC region.
In close collaboration with the various Genetec ecosystem of partners, integrators, distributors, technology and ecosystem solution providers, the incumbent will convey and apply commercial governance while successfully carrying Genetec's commercial offers in competitive market across Asia Pacific.
What your day will look like:
The Regional VP of Sales APAC Sales is more specifically in charge of (non-exhaustive list):
Overseeing commercial activities in APAC, which includes implementation of commercial strategies, sales, forecasting, budgeting and talent management
Oversee and manage APAC business development activities, including commercial strategies and tracking of Sales KPIs
Targeting new business opportunities with existing, new customers and partners
Designing solutions and business approaches aligned with customer needs using best practices and recommendations from Genetec product and offering groups
Communicating, coordinating with customer and internal groups to ensure the quality and timeliness of projects throughout the commercial cycle
Managing the response to calls for tenders in collaboration with multiple Genetec collaborators
Supervising, managing and supporting the Sales teams in accordance with the corporate culture
More about you:
Bachelor of science, engineering or equivalent
MBA would be a plus
10+ years of leading sales teams, preferably in a software/technology environment
Experience creating and implementing proven successful commercial strategies for creating demand
Strong collaboration & negotiation skills, showing ability to influence without ownership, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve agreed upon business outcomes
Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas
Outstanding project management skills and the proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel
Strong people management capabilities, including acquisition of world-class talent, development and motivation/coaching of high-performance teams
A personal style that is viewed as open-minded and collaborative
Should be self-motivated and results-oriented, have excellent analytical skills
Must be independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Language skills: English to a business standard. Other Asian languages are an asset
