Senior Cloud Data Engineer (GenAI Focused)

As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer at Shine Solutions, an AWS Advanced Services Partner, you will demonstrate hands on capability in Generative AI technologies, specifically AWS Bedrock (with demonstrated experience of working with agents and knowledge bases). Your role is pivotal in implementing innovative data solutions leveraging AWS cloud-native services, focusing on embedding advanced AI capabilities, managing vector databases, and integrating RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) methodologies.

You will be involved in (though not limited to):

• Implementing scalable data solutions using AWS Bedrock and other AWS AI/ML services.
  

• Deploy and manage vector databases used by RAG pipelines to enhance data retrieval and utilization.
  

• Design and automate infrastructure deployment using AWS CloudFormation.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI solutions into data-driven products and workflows.
  

• Manage and optimize data pipelines and solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AWS environments.
  

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly related to AI, data engineering, and infrastructure automation.
  

You will bring skills and experience such as:

• Proven consulting skills and client-facing experience.
  

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering.
  

• Hands-on experience with AWS GenAI tools, particularly AWS Bedrock.
  

• Strong understanding and practical experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Amazon OpenSearch) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  

• Demonstrated skills in AWS CloudFormation or equivalent Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  

• Working knowledge of AWS Data Services, including Athena, Glue, LakeFormation, and SageMaker
  

• Proficient in Python and libraries like Langchain and Haystack
  

• Familiarity with Snowflake, including data modeling, data warehousing, and pipeline integration.
  

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing complex data structures and processes.
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within technical teams and business stakeholders.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect,AWS Certified AI Practitioner).
  

• Previous experience deploying GenAI and RAG solutions in production environments.
