The Role
An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen to join Showpo as our Senior Merchandise Planner! Highly analytical, data-driven and with a can-do attitude, you will own everything planning, providing your expertise to underpin merchandise strategies with influence cross departmentally and to executive level. Additionally, you will support the growth of our Assistant Planner and actively problem solve to drive process improvements through the planning function.

Day to day, you will:
- Manage, lead, guide and develop the Planning function
- OTB Management, Seasonal Planning and Inventory Management. Strong collaborative stakeholder management with the Buying/Design teams
- Influence and strategically collaborate with all key stakeholders, partners and functions to ensure Showpo achieves, grows and exceeds all OKRs.
- Oversee preparation of Monday trade pack & presentation
- Ownership of weekly trade actions
- Develop and manage company-wide promotional plans from a product perspective to achieve business goals. Creation of Product Lists and Roll Ups for sign off with relevant stakeholders
- Ownership over Pricing Actions Models including: Repeats Model, Markdown & Reversion Model and Pricing Model
- Control Markdown budget to ensure that total company markdowns are within the agreed level
- Core Inventory Planning Management & oversee cost price negotiation
- Oversee Topline Monthly Cost Prices Negotiation
- Alongside the Data Team, Ownership of the WSSI - including weekly updates + circulation of tracking updates vs. LAFC
Who are we looking for?
- A highly collaborative, enthusiastic and data-loving candidate!
- Prior experience in Merchandise Planning role at a senior level
- Prior experience within fashion retail/retail highly advantageous
- Initiative to recognise or identify potential problems early and resolution skills to implement solutions accordingly
- familiarity with SQL/BigQuery advantageous though not essential
