Supply Chain Cost Technician

An exciting opportunity for a Freight Costing Technician has become available in the International Business Partner Analytics team within the National Supply Chain department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position.

The International Business Partner Analytics Supply Chain team are responsible for analysing data and determining the best transport option. You will be accountable for effectively planning international freight movements from our suppliers to our distribution centres, ensuring that freight expenses are accurately calculated and optimised to support supply chain efficiency.

What does the role look like?

• Analyse data to assist with preparation of freight metrics
• Liase with various stakeholders to collate information and data
• Prepare and calculate findings to support effective freight options
• Present recommendations to relevant stakeholders
• Ensure efficient flow of incoming and outgoing stakeholder correspondence and information
• Organise and update accurate costing functions and figures in the system for stakeholder use

What do we need from you?

• Demonstrated experience in data and information analysis
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and SharePoint
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Experience within Supply Chain operations and/or logistics highly regarded
• Experience with international freight highly regarded
• Prior experience using SAP and Coupa highly regarded

Remuneration

• Transparent tiered salary range of $83,300 - $95,900 including Superannuation.
