This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Victorian Primary Mathematics Curriculum Lead. In this role, you will play a vital part in the development of comprehensive digital textbooks for the Victorian Curriculum K-6 Mathematics. You will oversee content creation, ensuring it meets the highest standards of curriculum alignment and pedagogical quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to leverage modern tools, including AI, to enhance educational content delivery while working remotely.
Accountabilities
- Leading the development of K-6 mathematics textbook content aligned to the Victorian Curriculum from planning through to completion
- Overseeing content creation workflows and coordinating with internal team members
- Conducting thorough reviews of all content to ensure rigorous alignment with Victorian Curriculum content descriptions, achievement standards, and proficiency strands
- Providing specific, actionable feedback that enables the internal team to make precise edits and maintain world-class quality standards
- Championing the use of AI tools throughout the content development process to maximise productivity and quality
- Continuously improving team processes and workflows by identifying opportunities to integrate new AI capabilities
- Ensuring consistency in pedagogical approach, mathematical rigour, and developmental progression across all materials
Requirements
- Extensive experience teaching primary mathematics (K-6) in Victorian schools
- Deep understanding of the Victorian Curriculum: Mathematics, including content descriptions, achievement standards, and proficiency strands
- Familiarity with Victorian Curriculum 2.0 updates
- Strong familiarity with current AI tools and a genuine enthusiasm for using them to enhance productivity
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide clear, specific feedback on content
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach
