They cover most major cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, Darwin and Alice Springs. SSP currently operates more than 40 brands, including Roll'd, Cascade Bar, Two Johns Tap House Bar, Common Bar, and Upper West Side Deli, in addition to international superstars such as Yo Sushi. SSP Australia have recently acquired one of their major competitors, Australian Retail Enterprises, which will triple their existing Australian workforce in the coming years.
Job Description
Reporting in the Group Director of Reward (UK Based), your role will include:
- Analyse current state remuneration and performance frameworks, create gap analysis and suggested recommendations
- Refine annual salary review and performance management processes in alignment with policy and framework changes
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to agree and implement performance appraisal approach in line with global guidance
- Conduct market research and benchmarking (where required) to ensure competitive and equitable reward programs
- Utilises up-to-date industry best practices and regulatory requirements to inform reward decisions and propose recommendations for continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and managers on the implementation of reward related initiatives
- Analyse employee benefits and provide recommendations on best practices aligned with SSP Group requirements
- Support other HR integration activities as required
The Successful Applicant
- Strong knowledge of reward and performance management principles and practices
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel or HRIS systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to compensation and benefits
