Our client is seeking an experienced Remuneration & Benefits Specialist to work in a standalone capacity, truly embedded in a close-knit, professional, high caliber, and fun, supportive local and global HR team.

This is an immediate start, to act in the role until our client recruits for the permanent position. Candidates who are aligned to this role could apply for the permanent vacancy, and those with notice who are only looking for a permanent position are encouraged to apply. 

This role is to be hands-on operational and strategic when it comes to remuneration cyclical events, remuneration advising, reporting, and compliance within the remuneration strategy and frameworks. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the annual salary review process, providing expert advice to senior management on salary data.
  • Review remuneration policies and procedures, serving as the subject matter expert on remuneration data.
  • Liaise with HR, Payroll, and Finance on remuneration review matters, including salaries and allowances.
  • Analyse reports and benchmarking data to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform recommendations on employee remuneration and benefits
  • Oversee day-to-day management of employee benefits programs, including salary packaging, novated leases, and employee discount programs.
To be successful in this role you will have: 
  • Demonstrated experience as a Remuneration and Benefits Analyst or Specialist, who is comfortable working in a stand-alone Rem role whilst remaining operational and hands-on. HR Analysts who have worked on Annual Reviews in commercial environments are also encouraged to apply. 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in salary surveys and market research.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
