Renal Nurse Contract Opportunities (RN & CN)

Remote & Regional Queensland | 4-12 Week Contracts

We are currently seeking experienced Renal Registered Nurses (RN) and Clinical Nurses (CN) for a range of short-term contract opportunities across remote and regional Queensland . These roles offer excellent exposure to unique clinical environments while making a meaningful impact in communities with high renal health needs.

About the Role

You will be working within established renal services providing haemodialysis care to adult patients in rural and remote settings. Contracts vary between 4-12 weeks, with the opportunity to extend for the right candidates.

Roles are suited to nurses who are clinically confident, adaptable, and comfortable working in smaller teams with a high degree of autonomy.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in renal nursing
• Demonstrated experience delivering haemodialysis in an acute or satellite setting
• Competency using Fresenius 4008S and/or 5008S dialysis machines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

Desirable

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Previous rural or remote nursing experience
• Experience working across culturally diverse communities
