Role Overview:

Are you passionate about ensuring the perfect cup of coffee is always within reach? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Repairs and Maintenance Category Lead. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and optimising our coffee machines and other food and beverage assets across Australia, ensuring our customers enjoy the highest quality food and beverages every time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs specifically tailored to our coffee machines and other food equipment, aimed at maximising uptime and quality.
• Take ownership of budget planning and resource allocation for coffee machines and food equipment maintenance, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialised maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to service standards and schedules.
• Prioritise and address urgent maintenance needs promptly to minimise downtime and ensure uninterrupted service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with coffee machines and other food equipment, escalating complex problems as needed for timely resolution.
• Utilise our maintenance management system to accurately record and track all maintenance activities and machine performance data.
• Conduct regular reviews and quality checks on coffee machines and other food equipment to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all maintenance activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A background in maintenance or technical field with specific experience in coffee and other food and beverage machine maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee machine systems and components, including brewing mechanisms, pumps, and heating elements.
• Strong technical understanding of food and beverage equipment.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other digital tools for recording and tracking maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be on call after hours and Saturday mornings, demonstrating commitment to ensuring uninterrupted facility operations.
