Base Salary, (HEO5) $97,446 - $109,104 (pro rata) p.a. + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The School of Psychology is currently seeking a Research Assistant (Behavioural Neuroscience Lab) to contribute to the development of research protocols and driving the execution of research activities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
carry out and assist with behavioural neuroscience experiments in animal models
streamline and assist with grant application processes
provide vital research-related advice, and assist with data analysis
assist with managing day-to-day laboratory functioning
collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of research documentation.
About you

strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively across diverse audiences
experience with advanced behavioural neuroscience approaches
excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
advanced computer literacy and confidence with digital systems
high‑quality customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
data analysis capability, including interpreting and reporting research data
effective organisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
experience using research software and tools to support academic or scientific projects
strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
