Introduction

Our client, based in Perth’s northern suburbs, is a medical device company delivering clinically superior solutions that help healthcare professionals create life-changing outcomes for patients.
They currently have an opening for a Research Laboratory Engineer to assist with the layout and execution of Research and Development Laboratory projects. An early career or recent engineering (Biomedical or mechanical) graduate would be ideally suited to this role. This is a full time one year contract with the potential to go permanent.

About this role

The role has a combination of duties including:• Tensile and Burst tissue testing
• AWT valve testing• Pulse duplicator valve testing
• Good lab documentation practices (recording data, sample traceability, etc.)

What you need to bring:

An ideal candidate would have the following credentials:• Engineering background (Ideally Mechanical or Biomedical)
• Early career of recent graduate• Bench testing (Systematic analysis of product performance)
• Experience supporting or running laboratory experiments (Ideally with biological tissue)• Available for full time hours to cover maternity leave with the potential to go permanent.
