Research-to-Production Engineering Specialist

Build scalable engineering pipelines that transform cutting-edge research into production, partnering closely with researchers and stakeholders to solve complex problems, accelerate experimentation, and deliver reliable systems.

What You'll Do:

1. Turn research ideas into efficient, scalable production systems.
2. Build and improve pipelines connecting research experimentation to live deployment.
3. Develop external data ingestion, feature discovery, storage, validation, and experiment-tracking systems.
4. Design and deploy bespoke algorithms and novel engineering solutions.
5. Work closely with researchers to identify problems and deliver solutions within rapid feedback cycles.
6. Help ensure new systems and models can be deployed safely and reliably at scale.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborating across engineering, research, trading, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
2. Identifying integration challenges and system dependencies before they become blockers.
3. Working across Python, C++, internal domain-specific languages, and other technologies as appropriate.
4. Managing multiple projects while identifying connections and opportunities across initiatives.
5. Designing systems that are efficient, effective, scalable, and production-ready.
6. Learning new technologies and tools whenever they provide the right solution to a problem.
7. Supporting the journey from experimentation through validation, deployment, and production rollout.

Why Join Us:

1. Work at the intersection of research, engineering, and large-scale production technology.
2. Solve technically challenging problems where your work can directly accelerate innovation.
3. Collaborate closely with highly skilled researchers and technical stakeholders.
4. Gain exposure to a broad range of systems, technologies, and engineering challenges.
5. Build solutions where curiosity, adaptability, and practical problem-solving are valued.
6. Join a global technology-driven environment focused on continuous innovation and collaboration.

About You:

1. You're naturally curious about how systems work beyond your immediate area.
2. You instinctively look for dependencies, integration challenges, and opportunities to connect different systems.
3. You enjoy working across several projects and switching between different technical challenges.
4. You're pragmatic and choose the right tool for the problem rather than relying on one speciality.
5. You're comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies and programming languages.
6. You're an effective collaborator who can understand what stakeholders genuinely need.
7. You're motivated by turning complex ideas into practical, scalable solutions.
8. You don't need a finance background or a fixed number of years in a particular role—you need curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for solving challenging engineering problems.

Ready to turn research into reality? Bring your curiosity, technical versatility, and problem-solving mindset to a role where ideas move quickly from experimentation to production—and where every engineering challenge is an opportunity to build something new.
