Eureka 89 is the stunning events and dining space on the top floor of Eureka Tower in Melbourne. We host a wide variety of events - corporate lunches, dinners or cocktail parties, media launches, private milestone celebrations and weddings. We also operate a chef’s tasting dining room, open to the public throughout the week.

About the Role

Join our dynamic team at Eureka 89 as a Reservations Coordinator! In this hands-on, fast-paced, customer-driven environment, you will be responsible for managing dining reservations, daytime event hosting, ensuring a seamless booking process, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will play a key role in the daily operations of our dining room, actively engaging with guests and collaborating with the wider team to uphold our company values. This is a full-time position, commencing December 2025.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing incoming phone calls and email enquiries for dining reservations, including daily administration of bookings, prepayments, and guest requests, while tracking utilisation metrics.
  • Collaborating with the Operations Team to optimise seating and table turnover while enhancing the guest experience.
  • Assisting Sales & Event Coordinators in managing event requirements effectively and attend weekly team meetings to meet standards and targets.
  • Providing administrative support for smooth office operations and perform ground floor hosting duties for breakfast and lunchtime events at Eureka 89.

A standard working day is expected to be 9:30am – 5:30pm, any of the seven days of the week, and you may be required to work on weekends and gazetted public holidays. Flexibility may be required to allow for business necessities.

About You

  • Entitlement to work in Australia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in dining operations and/or a customer-facing role.
  • Proficient computer skills, with a competent understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with reservation systems such as Seven Rooms and Ivvy is preferred but not essential.

 A pre-employment medical and National Police Check may be required as part of this recruitment process.
