An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning Perth hospitality operator, Nokturnl; the team who brought you The Old Synagogue | Tonic + GingerThe Beaufort | Lotus, The Station | Ludo, and the newly opened CBD hospitality precinct in Yagan Square Stories | alba, KARLA, Ugly Baby.

We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our vibrant head office team in our newly created Reservations Manager role.

With a keen interest in customer service and passion for hospitality, you’re an organised, enthusiastic and passionate human with innovative ideas.

Reporting to the Group Function + Events Manager you’ll be the official first point of contact for all Nokturnl venues – with room for growth, ownership & progression for the right candidate!  

Key skill requirements...

  • Ability to think analytically and maximise the amount of reservations being booked within our restaurants.
  • Lead a small team of reservation assistants, ensuring efficient and effective reservation processes and maintaining the highest level of service.
  • Responsible for managing all incoming phone calls through the team and general enquiries for all Nokturnl venues.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate all bookings and general enquiries for Nokturnl venues, including restaurant bookings, bar groups and ticketed events. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, maintain strong communication with the venue teams, ensuring smooth transition from reservation to venue. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, manage client expectations and actively upsell Nokturnl offers and experiences. 
  • Be proactive in identifying untapped areas to expand business. 
     

What you’ll bring…

  • Proven experience in a reservations or hospitality management role.
  • Sound knowledge of reservations and event management systems, with Sevenrooms experience highly desired.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations. 
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Outstanding organisational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with high work volume and sense of urgency.
  • Team spirit! You’ll be working in the vibrant Nokturnl HQ team, within a Reservation + Events team of four.
