Residential A-Grade (North & West Melbourne) - Opportunity to Make a Difference

Are you an experienced Residential Electrician? 

Aseltech have a strong customer list with a pipeline of work for the next 2+ years in the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne. We are looking for a residentially focused electrician to help support our team and train our apprentice staff. 

About the Role

This position is a fantastic opportunity to work within a quality-based professional company that values work/life balance and offers a long-term role. We are a NON-EBA company that provides a 38-hour week with an RDO each month, company uniform, and an above-award wage. This is a full-time position with a 3-month probationary period, during which some overtime may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Read site plans, complete necessary paperwork, and have a sound knowledge of all facets of the electrical trades, including regulations.
• Adhere to company and OH&S site requirements, including reporting.
• Follow company goals and show mutual respect to all staff.
• Negotiate and resolve customer concerns.
• Provide training and mentoring to all team members, including apprentices.
• Be part of a results-driven team.
• Be accountable for yourself and your co-workers.
• Organize materials and delegate workload appropriately to ensure deadlines are met.
• Responsible for Toolbox and OH&S.
• Test and commission installations, including completing CoES's.
• Communicate successfully with clients, staff, supervisors, project managers, tradesmen, and apprentices.
