Resort Hotel Receptionist - GSA - 1770 Lagoons 

We are a company who pride ourselves on providing quality accommodation, and the highest service and guest care possible. Our staff are essential in providing this high standard of service and we are seeking someone very special to fill this front of house role. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist (GSA) for one of our flagship properties: 1770 Lagoons Central Apartment Resort, in the beautiful location of 1770 / Agnes Waters on the Central Queensland Coast.

Ideal candidate

 A genuine passion for hospitality with an eye for detail in facility, service, and product delivery is a must. You will understand that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do. If this position sounds like you, we need you to come work with us to continue our high standard to our valued guests. Please note we are not looking to Sponsor candidates

 

Attributes

  • Able to work a flexible roster with potentially 30+ hours per week.
  • Hotel Front office experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrable ability to assist in the reservation process from phone call to check-in and follow through to check-out.
  • Good knowledge of hotels or serviced apartment industry and procedures
  • Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Patience and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is a must.
  • A keen eye for detail, 
  • Professional personal presentation and representation of our company
  • Great organisational skills 
  • Knowledge of RMS, or similar system is a definite advantage.
  • Be part of a structured, working team 
  • Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with a ‘can do attitude’.
