Role Overview

As a Respiratory & Sleep Technician, you will:

• Perform diagnostic assessments including pulmonary/lung function testing and home sleep studies.
• Interpret results and provide recommendations to patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure patients understand procedures and address any questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage test data in line with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide cohesive patient care.
• Ensure all respiratory and sleep testing equipment is maintained and calibrated.

Skills and Qualifications

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Clinical experience in respiratory and/or sleep testing.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Respiratory Science, Health/Biomedical Science, or related field.
• Certification as a Respiratory Technician (or equivalent per local regulations, ANZSRS standards).
• Additional certifications in sleep medicine or pulmonary function testing highly regarded.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both patients and healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with healthcare software platforms (e.g., HealthTrack).
• Highly detail-oriented and analytical.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
