Restaurant Manager

The Sankalp Group is a well-established business in the Hospitality Industry in Australia. The Group   has   over   150   fully operational restaurants across the world.

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to work in our restaurant in Perth. The position offered is permanent full time position and the manager will be required to work late evenings, weekends and public holiday.

The successful applicant should hold at least Diploma degree in hospitality and have at least 3 years relevant work experience. You should be an outstanding team player, helpful, reliable and has the skill set and experience to perform the following duties:

The duties and responsibilities for the position of Restaurant Manager

• Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages.
• Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service
• Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards, and keep appropriate records
• Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are obeyed.
• Maintain budget and employee records, prepare payroll, and pay bills, or monitor book keeping records.
• Check quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods
• Meet with sales representatives to order supplies such as tableware, cooking utensils, and cleaning items
• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services
• Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts and lock facility at end of day
• Assist owners and Chefs to select or create successful menu items based on many considerations, and assign prices based on cost analysis
• Recruit, hire, and oversee training for staff
• Schedule work hours for servers and kitchen staff
• Monitor food preparation and methods

Base Annual Salary $70,000.00 to 75,000.00 plus superannuation based on experience and skill set.
