About us

Bonnie & Duke Cafe and Grocer was established 8 years ago to provide great coffee to local office workers. We added a small grocery range to the café 2 years ago and expanded into a more formal Café setting upstairs with beautiful views over the Yarra River.

Qualifications & experience

• Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management. 
• At least 2 Years of work experience

Tasks & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Manage and optimise inventory levels to reduce waste and control costs
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure a high level of customer service
• Create and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones
• Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to create seasonal menus and specials
• Maintain a clean and organised restaurant environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Analyse reports and performance metrics to make informed business decisions
• Foster a positive work environment and team morale among staff members
