The Venue & The People 

We are easily accessible by train or tram, located only a one-minute walk from Elsternwick Station. Free street parking is also available. The Position  

We're looking for someone who gets excited working in a fast-paced & vibrant venue and goes above when it comes to delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests. Someone with a passion for people, food, and beverage - a strong leader who inspires the team and wants to help strengthen the brigade through training & development. 

The key responsibilities of this role involves overseeing the dining room operations, with a focus on developing the team, staff training and exceptional customer service. 

The Space 

The exotic greenery throughout Bang Bang’s indoor space flows to a relaxed outdoor courtyard looking over the local park. The redbrick building is bigger than it appears, 300 covers make for a busy, dynamic dining environment. 

In winter we are cozy and inviting, in summer we open the doors and work in the sunshine. Our days involve engaging with the surrounding community as Bang Bang is a laid-back social hotspot with a bustling inner-city vibe. 

The menu is influenced by Thai, Vietnamese, and other Southeast Asian cuisines with a French influence. We are a food-led business with a fun and approachable offer.  

The person we’re looking for has: 

• Great work ethic 
• A passion for customer service and delivering memorable experiences 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry Extensive knowledge of food.
