The Role

We want to hear from you if you are a person who likes to “Have a Go” and “Own What You Do” and can help inspire and lead our front of house team to excel. The successful candidate will work side by side within the day-to-day operations of the restaurant with our Restaurant Supervisor. They will also assist and collaborate on any ideas that can be implemented within the food and beverage space.

Your Key Responsibilities are to:

• Supervise and mentor F&B staff to ensure efficient and effective management of Restaurant, Café and bars.
• Liaise with the Restaurant Supervisor to provide feedback and ideas for improvement in the Restaurant and bars
• Assist with the performance management of Team Members.
• Lead effectively by always setting a good example by maintaining a "hands on" approach.
• Conduct on-the-job training and coaching support for all Team Members.
• Display open communication in a professional manner with all team members, management and other departments.
• Maintain a professional manner when dealing both internal and external stakeholders.
• Creating a harmonious team orientated environment amongst all staff within the restaurant.
• Delegate tasks to Team Members in a fair and equitable manner.
• Maintain proper workplace health and safety practices.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of the promotions and events going around the club.
• Be aware of, and monitor, wage cost and staffing levels.
• Manage conflict and de-escalate customer situations leading to positive outcomes
• Ensuring you maintain a safe working environment and follow up on any WHS hazards that are identified
• Assist with stock control and inventory in order to reduce wasteage 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Energetic & enthusiastic approach  
• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant
• Excellent interpersonal and superior customer service skills
• Excellent presentation standards
• Previous Restaurant experience
• Barista & bar experience
• Full availability
• Fantastic teamwork skills 
• Exceptional conflict management skills
• Strong RSA skills
