Retail Manager

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our reputable client on a full-time role to lead and grow with the business as it rapidly expands.

As the Retail Operations Manager you will be responsible for building and managing team performance, liaising with external and internal stakeholders and the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and minimise shrinkage to ensure optimal stock availability.
  
• Sales Support: Lead store team to drive sales initiatives, enhance customer service, and meet performance targets.
  
• Training & Development: Support training programs for store staff to ensure they are well-equipped to perform their duties and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  
• Compliance: Ensure all stores adhere to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  
• Reporting: Prepare and analyse operational reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ of experience in furniture or retail operations management
  
• Proven experience in managing a small team to medium sized team
  
• Advanced problem-solving skills, and a solution oriented approach to your work
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with systems
  
• Ability to interact, influence and engage with all levels of the business
