The Role:

Store Managers are a major part of the “Engine Room” of our business. They promote and represent our Company, it's values and culture. Being the face of the business, you will be responsible for the Pro-Shop and Barbell Café. Working alongside the Customer Service Manager and Club Manager and overseeing the staff within the Reception Area, you will ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained whilst maximizing sale opportunities. 

In this role you will be required to:

• Meet with members and conduct a supplement consultant, understanding their goals & providing recommendations on products. (full supplement & product training will be provided).
• Supervise the Retail Assistants, providing training for new employees & ongoing support.
• Rostering of Retail Assistants, working with the Customer Service Manager to ensure adequate staff are working at critical times to provide the ultimate customer service.
• Tracking retail sales, ordering supplements, food, beverages & assisting with stock control.
• Keep abreast of the products up to date on new products coming to the market.
• In club promotions & sampling of products. 
• Assist members with body scans.
• Working with the Retail team to meet and exceed sales targets and other KPI's.
• Facebook and Instagram posts daily.
• Follow directions, prioritize & complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• 3+ years of Retail Supervisor experience, ideally in the Fitness Industry or with Nutrition/supplements. 
• A financially driven with natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals. 
• Experience in a KPI driven environment.
• Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life with a desire to help people succeed in their goals.
• The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
• Outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others. 
• Customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes. 
• Ability to be a role model and live by healthy values and behaviours while being passionate about the gym brand you work for. 
• A "can do" attitude with a thirst for learning & ambition for growth. 
• Be reliable, proactive, punctual, professional & well-presented. 
• Have a strong work ethic. 
• Be highly motivated & an adaptable team player with the ability to multitask and show initiative. 
• Computer literacy & ability to learn new systems. 
• Communicate & uphold, policies & procedures of the business to customers and staff. 
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (if not holding, would be willing to acquire). 
• Have Australian working rights.
